I'm sorry, I don't see your point or what this has to do with anything I have said. I've been called at least different 5 people today. I'm a person who is giving very moderate opions about what can be considered pretty obvious facts. If there is a problem here that my very uncontroversial perspective rubs up against the grain here, the problem does not lie with me but rather with the culture of the forum. Anywhere a man can't come and say things like " Life was worse for most South Africans under white rule" for fear of upsetting people is a pretty messed up place.

This is the absurd bit. There is a difference between defending yourself and planning to attack. Mthethwa's statement is the same of that of Malema. Carefully calculated to inflame hatred of whites. You can tolerate it if you want. Most of us won't.

Unfortunately that forum culture (of naked racism) is the rule when it should be the exception... How else do you explain that self-confessed santa reindeer Dasher still hanging out here spouting his blind views regarding black people! He's probably not even 18 yet.

Whether you agree with Dan Roodt's politics or not, (and I do not) the fact is he published this some time ago, long before the arrests and "revelations".

Is it too far-fetched to believe that the goverment has done this (arrest "some" whites and announce their alleged plans to bomb the SWC) as a form of insurance against anything going wrong at the SWC. In case something terrible does happen they have a ready made scapegoat. The whites.

Hopefully I am wrong, but make sure you have a plan B.

No doubt you exerienced some trauma. But do you want to live the rest of your life ruining other peoples lives and aspirations by being entirely negative and self defeating ? As a culture we will not survive this over saturation of negativity. Not to mention your own life. The rule of thumb is turn something negative into something positive. That's how you achieve absolutions and redemptions. But it's your life and I respect your right to moarn in anyway you want. But I assure you of one thing , your associating of blanketing all black people as the same because some terrible ones did something to your family, is a fail. Some of the most gentile and kind people you will meet are black people. The gross majority of black people are easy going , fun loving , kind and warm people. Don't let the actions of a very few needlessly poisen your world view.
