MTN - #1 Worst Company ever

Hi, I just want to inform the public of the my k@k experience with MTN [Western Cape most likely]

#1 : forget about leaving them a message via the "contact us" page on website, doing it over and over... waste of time
#2 : forget about phoning them, because you'll end up at a call center with none educated things or end up getting diverted to the wrong sector
#3 : forget about conference call appointments with them, they will forget it asap.. they will even phone you the day before just to confirm it for the next day @ a specific time.... so that you can sit in your office and wait and wait.. weeks later... still no phone call!
#4 : forget about asking for their email address, because they don’t have email addresses
#5 : forget about leaving a private message for the MTN rep dude here on myBB forums, he seems to have died
#6 : So mister CEO of MTN in western cape …hmmm what now?

..at least vodacom seems to care, their site surveys might be delayed but their service is way better and their always in contact with me, with my help of course.

And MTN is supposedly a communications company. :rolleyes:
 
Mtn was number 1 in my blackbook until recently when telkom overtook them. However your experience is probably same as mine if not worse.

I was mistreated in 2 mtn shops, once in cape town and once in bellville. I raised a complaint and did not get feedback. I raised another on hellopeter and i got callback after 2 months.

So yes Mtn sucks

I'm having the same issue's with telkom now, I asked for a ptp link to tower and got offered "wireless telephone" on contract! :confused:
 
My wife is still being overcharged by MTN for her contract they just keep on ignoring her queries.
 
Go into a mtn store and deal face to face with one of the consultants.
You will be to terrified to do it again
 
They do suck bad. I've even reported them to the CPA ombud. I got my day with them. Buggers
 
Defib, please keep us updated on the CPA proceedings!
Gf prepaid number is being defrauded by R7/day for past year and a bit (no content, notifications, nada) and MTN shop straight up told her it's not MTN's problem.
Pity MTN doesn't have a myBB rep or respond to emails or calls.
Communications company fail.
 
I have never used MTN ever but once did contact their call centre on behalf of a friend and will admit the call centre agent wasn't trained for the position didn't speak english properly I was about to throw her phone to the wall cause of the incompetent agent who is there to assist you or to speak to her supervisor/someone higher up than her for assistance
