Work pays for my 2gb mtn bundle per month, I have ever really noticed on what date the data gets renewed each month, currently on 100mb when I ussd 141

Does it get renewed at the end of each month?

depends on your billing date check your last statements for example mines runs from 21 to 20 so my airtime/ data gets loaded on the 21st, I know some peoples are on the 15th

Mtn currently doesn't allow you to load two bundles at the same time. I had to forfeit my 75mb that's free because I wanted a 2gb bundle. So basically thruout taking R49 away that you're entitled to

My billing cycle runs from the 7th of one month to the 6th of the next month.

Umm that’s correct but has nothing to do with what the OP is asking about :wtf:

As for your problem i have complained to them about it but their archaic system is useless and cant handle 2 recurring bundles. The only way around and what I do is I leave the bundle they currently have (measly 75Mb that it is) and manually load adhoc bundles above that when I need, its more work for me but with carry over etc I end up loading the bundles every second or so month, and sometimes I have enough loyalty points to load a bundle using this also you have the full bundle loaded as opposed to recurring if you load in the middle of the month you only get a prorata amount. Also dont forget bundles are only valid for 60 days so work around how much you use in 2 months and load that every 2 months so you save a little by loading a larger bundle.

Thanks for the advice. Highly appreciated. Sorry for freeloading off this post.
