This is precisely what Vodacom does, isn't it. They use the term "
HSDPA 3.6", which, arguably, a hypothetical reasonable person would understand to mean the speeds available are up to
3.6Mbps. If I'm wrong then why do they use
3.6 if not to refer to speed?

I think both MTN and Vodacom should refrain from using any reference to speed if they cannot provide these on a regular basis. I believe Vodacom and Mr. Coetzee (not your average consumer obviously

) have shot themselves in the foot because Vodacom will have trouble substantiating their own claims.
