MTN Active *162*ping#10

Someone called me from MTN and told me on MTN Active you can check your minutes left with some code but it does not work.

Is this a free service? Any shortcut to check how many minutes you have left?

As far as I know it's free.... not sure what you mean by shortcut?

Shortcut means you can put those option your normally enter in the initial string and go directly to the menu but it does not seem to work on MTN e.g bundles would be *162*PIN*1*1# - it does not recognize the last one for some reason.

yup, it gives a incorrect pin error if you try the shortcuts

I also followed that train of thought: adding menu selections after the PIN. It didn't work. Probably not the end of the world

It works for me. If you are a MTNActive user and you have a pin number then it should work.

I use it like this: *162*mypin# and dial.

Then you choose your option.

Yes, it works, but it could be much simpler - like the *123*11# shortcut to get WAP and MMS settings.
