MTN and CPA

No more esim charges, bill still being under charged, but been paying over the short charge every month and have a heathly balance of -805 rand nice :)

Yesterday I got my missing 10 gig night express added, and they gave me 30gig anytime data to make up for the 3 months short allocation :).Just going to keep on paying in the short charge, and be done with it, if they don't do any thing their problem, I will have a balance of about 2.5k +- at the end of the contract will get a nice modem or some thing from them or keep paying extra each month till I have 2 years worth of payments at the next upgrade.

I'm trying to get my eSim /one number service from MTN cancelled, any advise on what route you took that may have worked?

Y'ello!

Your 36-month MTN contract has ended. You're now on a month-to-month plan. Remember, you don't have any promo bundles and may be charged at out-of-bundle rates.

Have a great day!

Well then MTN you cut my 36 months contract to just 8 months, fine by me. Your loss. Thanks for the free laptop and wifi router, much appreciated !!!

No seriously I am upgraded in April, just when MTN switched over to the new 21 month upgrade term requirement, however MTN send out email already notifying me of my upgrade, so MTN decided to honor it, they were also in the process of upgrading their systems.

So they had to do the upgrade manually which took over a month, got R1000 credit for that and last month another R180 credit. I have been paying R53.00 odd a month since April for my contract which should have been R179 a month.

Phoned them 3 times and emailed them several times to fix it, they failed so I have just been paying the R179.00 a month over to them since April and have a healthy credit of over R1000 now and will continue to pay over the R179.0 a month till contract should have ended. If they still haven't fixed it by then, considering it's been 8 months unlikely they ever will.

So yeah got a free laptop and mobile router in the mean time.

13 months and counting, still haven't changed any thing still the same price plan. That said, the last two weeks I have been hounded with emails and smses to upgrade, pretty much ignoring it as my next upgrade date is next year September-November ish I think.Iam more then happy to wait it out, iam not dishonest, did best effort to fix it, they didn't after 6 months worth of back and forth emails hounding them to fix the problem, and ultimately said I no longer take any responsibility and liability.

However this offer that came through today, has me seriously considering being dishonest. lol 240 gig anytime data for 349 is a steal no mention of night time data, the catch of course is the 36 months but still an awesome deal.

Lol, won't be doing it, just doesnt feel right and iam more then willing to wait out my term. Just shows mtn can do pretty good deals if they wanted to, also if your contract expires and your price plan doesnt change waiting a few months you can get some pretty good deals.

I thought I post the code for some one yet to upgrade, so that you can try your luck with retentions.

You can try, no promises seems to be a retention deal. I suggest you do it today as this deal will likely end this month.
This is what I could make out from the email, was tiny little image in the email
