MTN and dropped signal

On a certain main road here in the Western Cape, when you are on a call and u drive down this road, it drops your call.

Its very annoying. I was on the call to win a prize from 5fm and as they took my name, they call dropped.

Ok that is trivial compared to a business deal going down and the call drops.

Could MTN do something about this??

I can even give GPS Co-Ords

it happens a lot with GPRS as well, there is one road in Bez Valley, in the highway in MidRand...

Why so secretive about the location of the road? Nothing (if anything) can be done without the location.

if you are using a 3G phone , change the setting to GSM only , what could be happening is that you are moving out of a 3G coverage area and the call gets dropped when switching back to GSM frequency

It could be that this mystery road is beween two cell sites and one cell is not handing your signal over properly either because of a fault or a propogation loss. Better tell MTN because they love this sort of information.
