mtn apn settings / afrihost coverage

so for reasons that are, i have changed the 2nd sim on my phone from an afrihost air mobile account to an mtn made for me contract

wher i was previously getting lte at home on the afrihost account, i am getting edge on the mtn account. this surely should not be happening?

my mtn apn setings are

apn - myMTN
mcc - 655
mnc - 10
apn type - default,supl
apn protocol - apv4
apn roaming protocol - ipv4

is it possible that afrihost gets a better signal than mtn?

There might be a setting on your phone that dictates which sim slot has 4g and what one has edge. It should be somewhere in the data settings.
