So I get the following sms's.

I go into *141*5#
And it says they want to charge R9 per day for their services!!!

Why does MTN allow this shyte to just happen and how many people are paying this without knowing?

MTN you are as bad as the anc in ripping the people off and these add on services are unethical and highly illegal seeing as I never subscribed!!

Also got signed up to a few of these SMS services, including MTN Gamer. What's worse is that I have a data-only contract with my SIM being in a router all the time - so I don't check these SMS's coming through daily. If not for this thread, I would not have checked. Hopefully the R0 bill limit I set will stop anymore of this fictitious sign-ups going forward.
