About a month ago upgraded my phone contract with MTN (very reluctantly I have to say after having a lot of trouble with getting my first contract with them). At the same time a changed my sms bundle from 100 to 200. Last night I get my phone account just to see that they have charged me for the sms bundle plus every sms that I sent. So I phone the call centre just to be told that my bundle wasn't activated therefore my sms's weren't allocated. Now this leaves me with my first question... How can they charge me for the sms bundle that hasn't been "activated" ??? The guy at the call centre said he'll send my query to the billing department to have the sms's allocated and my account correct… But I have to phone back in 3 - 5 day to see if the problem has been corrected... Now why must I phone back to see if it's been corrected? Shouldn't they get back to me their customer???
