I’m on Telkom prepaid, porting to MTN contract for the 550 minutes. Telkom is a non event for BF deals.



That’s often the problem - no-one is on the same level *especially* on Black Friday. I’ll confirm once I’ve gone to the next step.

Still no data service on 1 of the lines that had the upgrade go through yesterday. If I change the APN to afrihost, I get data throughput. change back to internet or mymtn and nothing. The datashare sims linked to this problematic sim are still working fine. I was bounced around the 135 call centre for 25min this morning before being cut off.

I have now sent an email to MTN business and will see what happens.
 
So I upgraded my 3 BF deals from 2018 on Friday with the retentions department. It still hasn't changed. They said that they need to do credit checks for the upgrade and that I would get a text once it's done.

Just checking to see if there's anyone else here who's having the same experience?
My contracts were loaded today. Got pro-rata data and minutes and the free 20GB.
 
Any idea of wait times today, been on the cancellations line waiting for 25 mins so far.

When I called I got put through to normal sales and they said Retentions are not taking calls today, they took my details and said retentions will give me a call back today or tomorrow. So your milage may vary.
 
Okay 1:25 hrs and finally got a person, stupid trumpet was making me mad.

Nothing yet - the lady emailed on Saturday night but there were no attachments. Followed up via email because she doesn’t seem to be taking calls even after giving me her direct number on email.

I’ve got the same problem with my 100GB anytime data deal. While the primary SIM isn’t working, the 8 linked SIMs (datashare) all work!
 
ouch! Same here (didn't think that previous bills would show anything important. November = R3491)

sigh -> guess calling them is the only way. getting a call reference where i will politely tell them that a debit order of that amount will be reversed
So when I called last week I was told to ignore what the last bill (November) amount stated on the app as it was incorrect and they confirmed my normal amount would be debited but as mentioned before its always better to double check.
 
Nope it is R499 for 500GB anytime + 100GB night data. Code is CT00024BF.

I tried to upgrade to this deal today, it wasn't available anymore. The agent knew about it, she knew the code but couldn't find it on the system anymore. Had to settle for the 150Gb R299.
 
I'm on R499 for 500GB anytime + 100GB night data, on Datashare is shows 0 GB being shared.

I have logged a query with MTN.
