MTN Black Friday Discussions

Only 20 gb loaded on my one sim. Not sure why. Apparently my other sim needs to be activated manually - still waiting
 
Anyone applied for this contract ported to an existing mtn prepaid number? (MTN for life)

I initially had a vodacom prepaid and decided to port it myself to an MTN prepaid as I was told it will make the process easier (to keep my number) so I'm currently on mtn prepaid.

Placed my order last Friday and got it this Friday and the card I received has no network at all, can't use any ussd, does that mean that the contract will 'activate' on the mtn prepaid one?

My sales consultant said he tried to activate it yesterday and today but it wasn't allowing him to.
 
Depends on what your billing date is. It will reload with 50Gb on your chosen billing date, not necessarily at the end of the month.
 
I might have lost track on the forum, but has anyone checked their Invoice for sim only packages? I signed up for the R149 package but my invoice is sitting at R472.52 (charging me twice for the package)

Anyone else?

also took the R149 sim only package, my unbilled invoice is R447.61

Edit: There is a 'Please note that discounts have not been applied' at the top of the invoice, so maybe they still have to straighten out the billing.

My unbilled invoice (without discounts) is R258.00. My previous contract monthly rollover always happened on the 14th. And I upgraded on the 15th. Im guessing its taking pro rata of your old contract and just adding the R249 without the R100 discount.

My dual sim still isnt active. So its now just a waiting game. I hope its activated within 48 hours since they resent the application again today

I'm in the same boat. Went from fnb connect to MTN prepaid. Now need to get to my new contract onto this number.

Have you activated your new contract yet?

My App is showing 455 for the same sim only. Where do you view invoice breakdown?

Register on mtn active and you can view the unbilled invoice. Lady I spoke to said not to concern myself with this as it is not the final invoice amount. Here's waiting...

Thanks for this clarity. Will check to see only R 149 or less is debited from my account.

There's good coverage in my area so getting speeds of 20Mbps. Real upgrade from my 4Mbps ADSL. Hope fibre comes soon though

Yes you are right I got around 20GB loaded yesterday and my billing cycle runs from 13th to 13th so this bundle will expire on 13th and on 14th new bundle with full month loaded etc.
so guys you may not have a full month to use your initial allocation, am also seeing an unbilled invoice of R 447.67?
 
One of the SIMs that I received on Thursday is still not active, spoke to them yesterday morning and they said they need to manually activate the sim & it will take 4-6 hours. Still not active. Tried to phone the activation department this morning but they are closed. How unless are mtn
