MTN Black Friday Discussions

I don't know but for me so much can change over three years and I can see it being good for guys looking for minutes but I'm just interested in the data.

And I was offered the same data that cost more and a three year deal.

I just think 110GB for R500 over three years isn't a good deal.
When I can get that on MTN home without having to sign a three year contract.

Thank you. Any idea if this is only for the older BF customers or will this be for the general public as well?
I hope these get offered to new customers.. Will grab the one with 50g..is it 50/50 or just 50 anytime?

50GB and 50min for R149 isn’t bad. Even if for 3 years. The original 2016 BF deal was 50GB only for R149 and nothing currently still matches that.
My 2016 deal included something stupid like a 1000 minutes and 50GB data

Looks like it's R199.

Yeah I think that was 10000 mtn to mtn minutes. 2018 deal is 42gig any time + 40 gig night + 650 any network minutes.

That was 100 min though if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah so called them to query this invoice hiccup. Seems like the supervisor is too "busy" to talk right now. If they don't sort it out, is it worth it dealing with the same issue come next time round? I can agree their deals are very tempting but this is something to consider next round.

yeah 50gb for 3 years is a decent deal

the only problem is if you using this at home only and fibre becomes way cheaper this wont be worth it

It was 500 all network minutes + 10000 mtn to mtn + 50gb. The best network bf deal to date

This invoice hiccup is getting on my nerves, I can't deal with this in 2020. I phoned them first thing in Thursday or whenever it was when I saw the bill and all I get from them is it must be a mistake but it still say R4970 outstanding.

Don't stress about it, its a technical issue.

I got a SMS with a link to apparently personalised BF upgrade offers. After entering the OTP, the deals are exactly the same as those on the YelloTrader pamphlet

So will we have to wait till the 20th to see if those deals are applicable to new clients as well.. The 80g package was quite cool in that it's offers 120g at R299 for 24 months
