Are the data portion from these deals shareable to other sims?

I was told the non promo data only is shareable. Mpho at retentions said mtn is tightening the sharing rules .

As far as data and minutes carry over is concerned, data has 1 month while minutes are 2 months. I think it use to be longer on both with our old contracts.

Would really love a Black Friday deal with talk time built-in and data that can be shared, but unfortunately MTN will not allow such a sweet deal...

Eventually went with the R199 80GB Anytime/80GB Night deal for 36 months contract, where 40GB can be data shared, I'm content.

Just keep in mind a yuuuge bonus with the Bf data deals is they are not fixed, you can roam anywhere with them and use datashare, the MTN at home deals as far as I know only work in one location, ie at home.

Stay on farm, MTN best network around. Need for house internet

Same for me, seems if you are on a business contract, these deals do not apply.

It seems they are not interested in thier bussines customers

The one where the mifi router is involve, the sim and mifi is locked to each other and network locked. There is a anytime contract type of thing, I think R299 x 24 months = 100 gig data, that one is only from online,

The question might have been asked before. Can data be shared on the 1TB data deal and if so how much? Can the data be shared with a prepaid number ?

I was told 400GB. I got the deal but on my breakdown of bundles, data share is showing on the data I had left from the previous contract. I guess I will have to wait till 12 December to see properly.

Some of the 36 month contracts have 24 month alternatives at R50pm additional, see cancellation note below
I wasn't able to tell which deals were 36 months and which were 24 please clarify before upgrading

CANCELLATION:
Any time = 1 month subscription penalty + current unbilled invoice.
So makes no sense to take the 24 month at a higher rate per month, if you can cancel in anyway when you want for the same penalty. Only difference is that you can "upgrade" earlier on the 24 month contract.

DATA SHARE:
Data share uses non promotional Data, promotional Data cannot be used for Data share, non promotional Data carries over for 2 months, promotional Data not used is forfeited at 30 days. You use promotional Data first, by default...

I phoned 135 and upgraded 2 2016 / 2018 BF deals to the 149.00 36 month ones. I was told there is a 1 month cancellation penalty with these deals. I can live with that

network lock= router only work on mtn, etc.
router lock= only this sim will work on this router
tower lock= work only on a tower.
I wish I could answer you on your question. Maybe someone else could help you.

Mine from R1700 to R299. Which is exactly my usual monthly amount, doesn’t make sense since the contract was upgraded before it expired but I can live with it.
