Hi there,

is there any way that I can block a number from contacting me?

If you use Windows Mobile, you can use an app like SPB Phone Suite, which supports white lists and black lists. Add the number to you blacklist, and all calls from that number to you are rejected.

You won't get the cell providers to block a number. Your only hope is in the instrument, or a court order.
 
Vodacom told me about going to the police station to open a report if the person is threatening me ect. Maybe phone MTn

I know most Samsung phones can block a number straight from the phone/
 
If you are connected to the OVI store on your phone, do a search for "best blacklisted", there are several applications available that will do this, starting with a "lite" version that is for free and blocks one number only

what of other phone
 
On my SGS2 I have the option of adding numbers to a "black list" which effectively stops those numbers from either phoning or sms'ing me.
Settings
Call
Call rejection
Auto reject list.

Alternatively CellC have the "My Tools" function where you can also reject certain numbers.
