MTN brings LTE coverage to Rustenburg

They way Cell C are doing it seems to work, all 2G on 1800mhz, 3G on 900mhz and LTE on 2100mhz.
I know it gets complex with existing hardware and limited spectrum, but keeping it simple is usually the best way. Or am I wrong?

Nice to see they also consider other places that are sometimes neglected

You are indeed. Cellc also has LTE on 1800MHz and 3G on 2100MHz.

Cellc is the Worst when it comes to LTE spectrum refarming because they have 3G and LTE on 2100MHz. So very limited spectrum gets shared on both 3G and LTE so theres your problem. 2100MHz 3G on Cellc has 5MHz bandwidth which is nothing if you consider how many people are possibly connected to it.

900MHz 3G on Cellc is slow especially in city or densely populated areas due to the fact that the signal travels overloading towers.
