MTN Data – Everywhere You Go

it seems asa and mtn are buddies..... well mtn has slick moves.

That is the saddest response from MTN. I know they're pretty useless...guess it's because they spend all day thinking up such lame comebacks

Wonder why Mr Sullivan did not point to the MTN ads that specifically state 7.2Mb/s? That is the gist of his complaint and in direct violation of previous ASASA rulings.

If you look carefully at the many 'competitor complaints' from both companies, you will see that they all do this with alarming regularity. Probably because not enough consumers are willing to spend the time themselves putting together a document outlining their ad complaint.

Nothing to do with the ASA being in league with anyone. If they stuff up, then the ASA will act. If they didn't, then they either reject the complaint or partially uphold it. Their arguments are clearly written and fair IMHO.

i guess it's not fair to asa and icasa in the same group, cause icasa is useless.

Everywhere my arse

Mtn is horrible..we took out an 3g contract because where we stayed (boschkop, about 10km out of pretoria to the east) at that time there was no other broadband solution..the lady in the mtn shop told us "you should have perfect coverage..etc"..so went home all excited, installed it and then had a shocking 5-45 kb/s connections speed (gprs, not even edge:sick:) this while some friends of ours who lived about 200m from us had a perfect HSDPA connection via vodacom at their place..MTN "everywhere but here"
