ROFL, points to MTN for creativity in that response, and it's quite amusing as wellMTN responded saying that the ‘everywhere you go’ is a marketing pay-off line that was conceived and is used to express an emotional desire to be a life time partner to consumers as they progress through their life stages. “That is an attitudinal statement, not a functional one,” stated MTN in their defense.
If you look carefully at the many 'competitor complaints' from both companies, you will see that they all do this with alarming regularity. Probably because not enough consumers are willing to spend the time themselves putting together a document outlining their ad complaint.it seems asa and mtn are buddies..... well mtn has slick moves.
Nothing to do with the ASA being in league with anyone. If they stuff up, then the ASA will act. If they didn't, then they either reject the complaint or partially uphold it. Their arguments are clearly written and fair IMHO.
