MTN Data prices Wow

Went on to MTNs website to check the data prices today to get a screen shot for a buddy as he is on a 75MB and getting 100Mb so just needed to show him nothing special its the current pricing structure but when I saw this I was a little shocked:

I know its only temporary but its pretty decent comparing to cell c its actually great

Can MTn Rep confirm if this is correct and for how long is the promotion

So looks like a fail or false advertising as not available on MTN active or via USSD:

Very good pricing! Someone at MTN made a mistake and is gonna get fired. :p
 
I have not seen this in mybb news would be nice if rpm can find out how long this last
 
Not really that great. CellC still kicking their asses. Bought a R49 cellC bundle for the daughter last nigh and got 100minutes+100sms's+100MB data for R49!
 
Those prices make me sick to the stomach :sick:

Cell C is basically half the price for everything below 2GB:

Guys if I'm not mistaken those last three price are contract prices for a 24 month data contract not data bundles you can add to your normal voice contract and pre paid.

So basically a typo.If MTN were to really give those prices they would make a huge noise about it.The greedy scumbags,so glad I left them for cell c.

Yes, this is the actually promotion that we have the has been going since 20 August 2012 and the expiry date has not been confirmed

grrr been trying to get hold of there call center the hole day, all i get is all lines are busy please call again later

Either you are also confused or we are going to hold you to this,seriously I will buy an MTN sim to get this deal if its true so don't make me buy it for nothing.

Are you saying those last three prices i.e R69 for 500mb,R99-00 for R1GB and R139-00 for 2gb are available DATA BUNDLES that we can add on a normal voice contract and voice prepaid adhoc or recurring?:confused:
 
I tried following the link (www.mtn.co.za), but could not log in - was told account was blocked due to too many incorrect password attempts. Funny, could log in at active.mtn.co.za. So I phoned 808 and was told:
1. The special does not exist - was stopped months ago. (This goes against what MTN-Lazola said above).
2. I should go to mtnsp.co.za and from there to active.mtn.co.za. But as mentioned above, the special is nowhere to be found from there.

:confused:
Can MTN-Lazola please advise?
