MTN Data prices Wow

Glad to see MTN back on MyBB!

While its great that MTN finally have a rep here again don't thank him just yet I think he is confused and further compounding the issue.

I tried following the link (www.mtn.co.za), but could not log in - was told account was blocked due to too many incorrect password attempts. Funny, could log in at active.mtn.co.za. So I phoned 808 and was told:
1. The special does not exist - was stopped months ago. (This goes against what MTN-Lazola said above).
2. I should go to mtnsp.co.za and from there to active.mtn.co.za. But as mentioned above, the special is nowhere to be found from there.

Can MTN-Lazola please advise?

Maybe he should go double check with someone else first.IN FACT EVEN THE CALL CENTER AGENT GAVE YOU FALSE INFO since the 300mb for R99 is a valid promo that you activate right now on your prepaid or voice contract but from 500mb-2gb the prices are for dedicated 24 month data contracts and not data bundles that you can add on.

I highly doubt these prices are correct,atleast not the last three....theres no way 500mb will be cheaper to buy than 300mb.

(keeping clam here) why must vodacom and mtn always mix stuff up so much and put in so long T$C that u need a degree in law school to understand what they are selling u

but anyway about the mtn representative, to get that status on the forum and the title under your name u must show mybroandband some proof? I think
 
Would also like to know if Lazola is legit.

An official rep would at least be able to spell correctly, indicating that he passed Matric, or at least know how to use a spell-checker. ;)

Are you saying those last three prices i.e R69 for 500mb,R99-00 for R1GB and R139-00 for 2gb are available DATA BUNDLES that we can add on a normal voice contract and voice prepaid adhoc or recurring?:confused:

It's so bloody embarrassing, cos their ads on MyBB also just give you errors.

Their site must be one of the ugliest around and for a company the size of MTN this is not excusable.

Nothing wrong with a mistake here and there I'm also in business and we make errors sometimes but trying to twist it makes you seem sneaky.Out with it just be honest,thats not your data bundles rates available to normal voice contracts or prepaid customers is it?

Maybe they extended the promotion so not a huge deal that in itself,but the information itself is completely misleading.

very misleading think we have a case for ASA or CPA?
I checked again and its still there but we cant purchase it and nowhere does it mention that the 500Mb / 1 GB and 2 GB are contracts only.
