MTN data problems

Hi guys

We have received confirmation about data problems on the MTN network since this morning. WE did not receive an official reply yet - will post it as soon as we get it.

From MTN:

Last night (30/11/08), MTN ran an update in one of our switches in the Randburg and surrounding areas; this has had an impact on some of our data users in those areas. MTN is currently in the process of resolving the problem and estimates that this impact will be resolved within the next two hours. MTN advises that there will still be some congestion on the network but assures its customers that this will ease within the two hours. MTN advises its customers to disconnect and then reconnect.

MTN apologises to its customers for any inconvenience caused and assures them that the problem will be resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible, to restore a quality service once again.
