MTN denying Bundle Users Access !

I have a 500meg Data Bundle with MTN on prepaid for my PC.

I also have a MTN contract Sim !

When I try to Connect with my Data Bundle Card , I get error 619. 33c a megabyte

I then slip my MTN Contract card in and it connects instantly ? R2 a megabyte

I really think something is fishy here !

MTN data dude please help !

The 619 error can indicate several problems. Most of the time it's an APN not provisioned error. Send me the APN you are using and the MSISDN (phone number) of the SIM and I'll have someone check to see what's going on.
 
Naaa it's the MTN network doing ***. I tested both internet and myMTN access points.

On my contract sim each time I connect it chows 0.50MB. I redialed so many times it eventually had chowed like 30MB, although I got refunded in the morning thankfully.

On prepaid it chows 50c. I used up R30 airtime in 1 evening trying to connect. I was also refunded my R30 in the morning.

Wish they would send an sms saying there are issues instead of just keeping mum!!!

That does sound strange. PM me the prepaid and contract numbers and I'll have a look to make sure that the profile and provisionings are ok.

Please send me details of the issue, tohether with the Cell number and area.

I've been having the exact same problem on and off since I bought a data bundle for my pre-paid SIM about ten days ago.
It doesn't seem to be limited to any particular time of the day, like the problem discussed in this thread.
