This is now the second time it has happened, has anyone else had the problem?

I am on an anytime 350 contract, have been a happy mtn client for more than 10 years and now:
- I loaded a 1gig ad-hoc data bundle in September/October and got charged for it 11 October as well as 11 November. After inquiry I got a credit on invoice of 11 December.
- I loaded a 2 gig ad-hoc data bundle in October/November and got charged for it 11 November as well as 11 December. After inquiry today they again acknowledge the mistake and now I need to wait again for a month before I get this credit.

The first time I loaded the bundle via the voice prompt system and the second time via the mtn active website, so it seems to be a billing problem rather than the system taking the order.

MTN Reps also welcome to comment.

i think the problem with MTN billing is that their problems are random. which is not ideal as it means they may not have a solution to your problem.

for instance that ha never happened with me when adding an ad hoc data bundle.

That is disturbing, because random errors are not made by computers generally. That means probably that there must be some kind of human intervention during this billing process i.e. I load the bundle using one of their systems but it is only loaded on my invoice manually. I would not expect that to be the case but if it is... it would explain randomness in their errors.

Hi there,

Yes i have seen your thread, didnt wanna comment til i checked other people with the same problem, but from what im reading from your post is that you are not loading once off but ad hoc bundles, ad hoc would be permanent monthly bundles as opposed to once off bundles right? ive been out of this game for a while man so i need a little clarifiction in terms of your cell number via pm please.
