Hi guys

Just thought I'd let you know about the Easter mega deal promo we have for the month of April:

It's a sim only deal, you get 20gb anytime and 20gb night time, plus for the 1st month only you get an extra 20gb any time and a 14gb entertainment pass ( 1gb facebook, 1gb twitter, 1gb whatsapp, 3gb youtube, 3gb deezer, 5gb showmax)

All this for R199 over 24 months, sounds like a good deal to me, I've already referred a couple of family members :)

This is for new contracts and those due for an upgrade, plus there are router options you can add:

1. Huawei_Sh@reLink E5573 Mi-Fi Router (Add R30)
2. Huawei_Sh@reLink B612 (Add R50)
3. Huawei_Sh@reLink B618 (Add R80)
4. Huawei_B525 (Add R90)
5. Huawei_Sh@reLink E5885 Mi-Fi Router (Add R120)

Clearly you dont know of the better offers from Vodacom for much cheaper.
See Vodacom thread.
110 Gigs - R299 for 23 months.
1st month free with free delivery and Sim.
Educational Voucher as well.

Please advise people to get the Best Value contracts.

He is just informing people looking for MTN specifically and didn’t state it was the greatest deal ever or best out there currently.
The vodacom deal is amazing but sometimes u pay a premium for the provider with the better network in the area you are going to be situated in most.

Limited rollover or get charged for it. Vodascum doesn't get my business.

You see I took the contract for the value. I know they a terrible company.
I will be addressing the concerns with ICASA as and when it comes up.
Already sent them an e-mail to advise Vodacom is stuffing me around and I don't even have the service yet :)

Vodacom does not have communication channels for user to call and get help.

There's no value, I get 92gb with 650mins per month for 299 on MTN.

pfft, why even Bother,
R250 per month on Rain, UNCAPPED, UNLIMITED EVERYTHING,

cancel anytime, not locked into a old school 24 month contract.
even some of the big deal from helkom look puny in comparison.

I mean, yes you can only use it between the hours stipulated, and yes not everybody can enjoy Rain.
and yes yes, throttling and speed is always an issue,

but for me, best thing since sliced bread,
did 897 Gb last month, cost me only R250

at that price, its almost for free, all the rest of the deals look like a rip-off.

MTN does not have a contract offer like what you mention.

Could you provide the Link please ?
You're late for it.

was a limited special, but its over now

OK Thanks !

I will try to ask if I can get that Birthday deal.

R3 a GB not bad for pricing. But they must get down to R2 a GB then only will the pricing be right.

I took the 20GB+20GB deal - the telephone process was very professionally done compared to the Vodacom 60GB ordeal...

Cheaper per Gb yes. But you are comparing a 20Gb deal with a 110Gb deal. Yes it's "only" R100pm more, but that is 50% more. Maybe the person has a budget to work to. Maybe they don't need so much data.

It would be cheaper if you could keep the data you have purchased or give it to someone else. Like buying a pocket of potatoes when you only need 3 potatoes. Yes it's cheaper per potato, but a waste of money if you don't use most of them and have to throw them away.
