I didn't really notice but when I needed the email service I was reminded of the problem. Since MTN done the "upgrades" to their email service users only have a 10mb mailbox. Now that I have my ADSL and wish to use it like a permanent email cause I used it on my phone for a very long time the 10mb just don't cut it anymore. I just wanted to say that MTN's email service is really bad. Vodacom offers 1GB of email space and all the exact features that MTN gives. This is off cause all free. I will never go to Vodacom MTN has been good to me but i personally think those limits should be raised. It's kinda strict. If you want to give your feedback just email the and ask if they can increase the storage space. Maybe they will when more people email their feedback. [email protected] :(
 
Dude, why why why are you even considering using any of those emails???!.

it's free, it's 6GB storage , it got POP3 , it got IMAP, it got all the bells and whistles google offers [i.e. google talk / google docs / picaso] . In fact you can let google go fetch email from your other accounts.....

And then there's the MOBILE GMAIL app...

anyway...i'm just lost sometimes how people still bother with Mweb/Voda/Mtn failmail which not only COST MONEY but force you into an ISP ....you really don't want that.
 
Probably off-topic but are any of you able to use MTN's email2SMS service using your registered email address and not the website interface?

I still have MTN I just used MTN data when i waited like a month for my ADSL. SO I now only use my ADSL and I don't allways have international access cause my telkom account is capped. So Thats why i use that. i know all the international email like Hotmail,Gmail,Yahoo,KXM ect ect have huge storage space its just I don't have any international at this time. thats why local email comes in handy.:)

P.S. I never notice that Gmail has grown to be so big. Damm when I got my first Gmail account the storage situation was like 1.5GB. Anyways I can't get a nice email address cause most are already taken so you have to choose this long email names

Dear MTN

My name is Prudence Mahlaba, Ive being using My contact for years. So ive being out of the country for 6months for work , then when i go to the shop to claim my numbers they are telling me that they cant activate my numbers because its prepaid they will give them to someone. So i was asking you guys to activate my numbers because ive being using the numbers since even my bank accounts and some personal stuff using my numbers 076149 7779. please help a black child im pleading you guys
