MTN Fastlink E620 Data Card installer issues

Hi all,
I have just had to reinstall windows on my laptop and am having trouble getting the drivers and software for this data card to install. When I run the setup app, it gets as far as prompting for the install language, and when I dismiss that dialog nothing else happens. I have tracked the setup.exe process in process explorer and it seems the process just dies for no particular reason.
Has anyone experienced this? It's a fresh install of XPSP2, with Kerio Personal Firewall (disabled for the install), Avast Home, Firefox 2.0, WMP11 and Live Messenger installed.

I forgot to mention, I did have the card working before the windows reinstall.

Well I had a similar problem but for the life of me I don't know what I did to fix it, I think I formatted my pc again, did the pc by any chance reboot during the installation of the UI disk being loaded try uninstalling it reboot reload the software and try again maybe something in the registry

If all else fails reformat and reload windows
