Since 11 May 2024 our LTE router suddenly went down and is still down
MTN advised me to call the Coverage Call Centre - What I found out was that there is a data barring on the router that must clear at the end of the call I was informed that sorry this was a technical fault on the side of MTN and they waiting for the technicians to repair this issue so it will cut off with the same issue after 2 hours and so it did.
I have been calling every 2 hours for 4 days and continue, holding the line for avg of 25 minutes, that must mean they have a lot of issues, and then the very helpful ladies assist me again for 2 hours (I think by this time they are also now "GATVOL")
I send complaints to every MTN customer care email I could find only to get an automated response with a Ref no that no one ever answers or phones you back, but I'm expected to pay every month and get no refund for downtime or a technical fault.
If anyone has any advice on how to sort this I would appreciate it.
I know cancelling MTN is the other solution but still have 6 months to go on the contract.
Regards
