MTN getting ready for a big fightback

This is good news, people are kicking MTN when they are down but its time for some payback.

"it could also not react to price cuts and promotions from its competitors, as its network was not up to scratch"

So paying a premium for an inferior product is cool with MTN.

Payback? These guys tied their own shoe laces... They down because they down right suck.
I have been a customer for 20 years. I have some real bad stories.

If you havent had a bad experience, I call it luck. And I mean with any service provider, or any company for that matter.

LIARS?...just the other day when prices were increased, they painted a rosy picture for consumers.
CSPs should be heavily fined for taking consumers for a ride ?

 i would rather wait for the second coming of Ice Age than waiting for this so called fight back to happen.

First thing they need to do is redesign their crap website. Went on it the other night and wanted to scratch my eyes out.

Maybe Enzo will help with that, moving from Telkom marketing.

MTN South Africa has also strengthened its executive team in recent months, with the appointment of a new Chief Digital Officer, Chief HR Officer, Chief Customer Experience Officer, and Chief Information Officer.

Anyone knows who these appointed people are? The MTN website is too confusing to give these specifics.

Hope they'll be doing more than random games and promos that only worm short term.

They need a long term strategy that actually cares about the MTN brand.

What does the MTN brand stand for?

This company is going to bleed customers long before it gets its shyt together , they must be celebrating at Vodacom, telkom and cellc .

I was with MTN for 2 years. At the time, their contracts were not too bad and was easy to understand. I was quickly let down by their poor network (Edge everywhere) and the way they treat their customers. My experience: I stood in a queue for a long time to take out a new contract and when I reached the front I was told to get another document. I obtained the document and returned just be told to stand again in the queue right at the back! When I refused, I was escorted out of the shop by security! What a nice way to treat your customers MTN, especially your high income customer. You don't do this to me. I have been a happy Vodacom customer ever since, spending a lot of money every month. At least Vodacom know how to treat their customers with dignity. Once I get a hatred in a brand, I will never go back.

A friend had her MTN pre-paid airtime taken by a subscription service - no opt in - how is that big fightback.
MTN can go to hell.

Empty promises so far.
There was this announcement that MTN was going to have a completely new innovative contract where you compile it yourself etc etc.......
The next thing you cut everything badly at higher cost
So with this new announcement I look forward to your revenge attack and the extra 5 sms's per month.................only for top end contract though.

PS for those who saw, I finally found the right spot for the post................
