MTN gives reasons for billing problems

I have a 100MB data bundle contract. I check my balance each time before connecting & it showed that my balance was getting reduced everyday. End of the month I still had about 5MB the next thing I know MTN has debited R1200 of my account. F'd up if you ask me

i think this is corporate SA's answer to cash flow problems. everyone else goes to get an overdraft, a loan, but corporate sa has "billing problems".

isnt it funny how these "billing problems" never under-bill?

strange isn't it:p

Letting them have it doesn't help - they don't give two hoots, after all, they already have our money, why should giving it back be a priority.

I can just imagine all the interest they're earning on our money.

yup kiss your money good bye

well, my girlfriends line is still suspened, meanwhile her account is up to date, so get mtn back on the line and complain some more

Not acceptable. They have been stuffing up the bill and treating the customers like idiots when they complained. This problem has been with us for a couple of months. And it certainly isn't only a statement "test" run - I suspect they are now outright lying. They have been disconnecting customers. I certainly didn't receive an SMS and my statement is obviously wrong. My colleague whose data bundle wasn't depleted but was billed out-of-bundle didn't receive and SMS as of Friday.

Heads should roll.

Yup. I have the same prob your friend had. Been fighting with them for ages. but just try and cancell or ask about cancelling your contract and suddenly you are @#$. With no way out of the contract where they can bill you what ever they like and ignore your complaints.

I say sue the #$%@#$.
