MTN iPhone 6 prices announced

Interesting.. Last few contract pricing.. 2011 4S (16GB, Anytime200) R500, 2013 5S (32GB, Anytime200) R450.. If I got a >> 2014 6 (64GB, MTNChoice200 or Anytime350?? What is this?) R650 <<

Why??? Is inflation and rand depreciation over last 12months that bad? Ps. Why no change in us price for last two models btw

The difference is in the price of the airtime package, not the phone price. MyMTNChoice200 (The new package) is 200 minutes of airtime, Anytime200 (The old package) was R200 of airtime.

Can Apple really justify these prices? Is the machine really worth it?

They're the same prices as the Galaxy Note 4. In fact, the standalone retail price for the iPhone 6 plus is less than the Note 4. Yes, the Apple is actually the cheaper option here.
