MTN LTE roaming

Hi Guys

As the title suggests, can you roam on MTNs LTE network using Telkom Mobile, or is it limited to 2G/3G?

You can roam on MTN data network but then you will have to purchase data for roaming on MTN network but you cannot use any of Telkom Mobile Data Promotions example example 60gig+60gig, etc. ..

I wouldn't recommend using MTN LTE roaming, imagine waken up to a bill shocker

I highly doubt it. MTN is so strict that they don't even allow their own prepaid customers to use LTE so I HIGHLY doubt that they will allow Telkom Mobile users to use their LTE network.

Agreed with the other comments. TM resell MTN LTE for backup only. It is insanely expensive.

I have 150MB per month for roaming where I don't have TM coverage. The 150MB gets used up real quick on 3G, no LTE needed.

To directly answer the OP's question, roaming is limited to 3G. MTN can't provision LTE on a SIM that isn't theirs.

I agree to above. One correction. MTN cannot provision foreign (in this case Telkom Mobile) SIM. MTN just apply the same rule to all Telkom Mobile customers.

Always there will be loopholes that probably do still exist on their network.
