MTN LTE Sim Card delivery - confused?

Hi guys this is not some scam, MTN is pushing out LTE sims for free to people that do not have a LTE sim card, Once it has been brought to you please follow the steps to do a sim swap or if you have any problems just go to any MTN store for help.

We got the message already.

So I received a call from MTN last week. Just to confirm who I am. Really? So I asked them when would it be delivered. Response: Some time next week. Wait for courier company to call you.

And I am still waiting.

I also waited about a month, received 4 smses. Eventually just popped into an MTN store, told them I got the sms, and they did the sim swap in store for free.

Think ill try that as well, was also contacted numerous times but get those phone calls from all Cell providers so usually say no thanks and put phone down.

So after waiting for months, I went to the MTN store (Canal Walk). Weird experience. They asked a bunch of strange questions that did not relate to me.

In any case, they gave me the LTE sim and said I needed to wait for an sms before I start using it. 24 hours later - still no sms.

MTN is deur die ***. I got a new sim yesterday and they said don't put it in until you receive a sms and then you need to reply YES. Never received it... just noticed my phone stopped working. Put in new sms and it works. Twats
