This is getting a little too much now! Everyday after 8 pm I cannot get thorugh with my cell...
Is anyone else having problems like this?

MTNDD, I hope you are on here later...
 
Is MTN having problems at the moment?

Is anyone else experiencing call problems?
 
I had the same problem in my area a while ago. Reported it and they sent an engineer out to my place. Fixed very quick :D
 
Good to hear... I am going to have to do that ASAP...

Well glad to know I'm not going insane here myself. I was just about to come and ask if anyone else was having problems and saw this thread,

I've basically got the exact same problem. Just spent the last 2 hours trying to phone and couldn't get through. Every number I tried just gave me a network busy signal. Even phoning 100 gave the same problem. However SMS's worked perfect

I thought it was my phone at first, Turned it off, and on, same problem. Turned 3g off and forced it to GSM.. Same problem, and then all of a sudden it starts working again. Its really a pain in the rear end to say the least

Guys

I got a reply back to say that these faults need to be logged, guys I'm really sorry to do this to you guys wish there was more I could do, I have escalated this to my GM as surely they can see there's a problem here and it needs to be fixed

While I'm on this topic have these problems stabilized or is there still a problem?

It only happened once or twice last night... So it seems as though it is getting better. But I will check over the course of the week.

It just seems that sometimes, especially during Off Peak times.... There is a congestion on the network. Maybe too many subscribers now, for the network to handle?

Sure they must be addressing it though...

Anyway, will keep you posted... :)
