Dear All,
MTN and Ericsson engineers have found the root cause of the problem that was impacting Network services in the following areas:
• Pretoria & surrounding areas
• Germiston
• East rand
Resolution has been implemented but it would take about 1 hr for the backlog to clear.
Although automatic location updates will be done by the Network but we would like to recommend that we request subscribers to manually restart their handsets in order to speed up the resolution process.

I am past Furious with MTN and they're stupid Call Center Shops, all the MTN shops do is sit with multiple phones trying to get a call center person...
What is the use then of a MTN shop or Service Center..
After having logged a billing Query having still recieved no response and MTN blocking-cutting of my Service, when a MTN representative from they're shop told them not to cut it off because of the Billing Query..
I am Absolutely LIVID!!
