MTN on Iphone...

Hi all ...

I have just returned from the uk and have brought my jailbroken iphone accross and bought an MTN pay as you go sim and loaded a data bundle ,
I have called MTN several times an no one can help me set up the data settings , I have read that i need to add the APN as internet and have done this but still nothing is working , If i remember correctly the data has to be activated on MTNs side but no one at MTN can help with this , does anyone know how i can sort this out ?

Also will I have full 3g speed on MTN ?

Try the Sim card on another phone to see if data services are active, as it takes a while for data services to be activated.
APN: Internet
User/Pass remains blank.

And you will receive full 3G signal depending on your location.

3g mtn on iphone

Hi there. I'm using an Iphone on MTN network. It can access to gprs but when I turn the 3G on, there is no signal. Does any know how to set up mtn 3g on Iphone ?

if you can access gprs then 3g should work without a problem, just make sure your tower is 3g ready. also, do you have the iphone 3g or the original iphone?

or, do you pick up 3g on any other device using your mtn sim?
