MTN Rep please respond

Hi,
I was wondering if there was a possibilty to install or upgrade the network signal in my area. My area has a very weak signal and would like MTN to setup a proper EDGE/3G signal in my area.

There is an earlier thread somewhere (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=136909) and if you contact that helpdesk they do in fact tell you when and where upgrades will be taking place - I doubt you will get a response to a "Please call me" on this forum. It is a little more involved...

The MTN coverage helpdesk number is 083 900 1212, a free call from a MTN SIM.

Thanks guys, looks like i'll be giving them a call snakepit, I live in Odell Road Sunningdale, close to glenhazel and sandrigham (JHB)

Edit: Thanks again for that number, just called them and logged a fault, they will be sending a techie to come and do some testing in my area. Lets just hope they see that there is bad coverage here and either install a signal booster or configure the closest tower to provide better signal or both

I do know that they are planning or have recently built a new base somewhere near edenvale hospital - that should help you...
