Seems like every week is Friday the 13th for the cell operators --> if it is not MTN then it is Vodacom

It seems MTN is having issues again, cause I can't reach most of my "083" contacts.

I really got shafted with this yesterday. Last working day for the year, loose ends to tie up, no phone, lovely.

I got a new MTN contract on Thursday - not connected yet.

If I remember correctly, MTN had a problem this time last year as well that they sold new contracts faster than their infrastructure could handle. Seems as if it is happening again.
