MTN roaming dissepointment

Hey guys. What I dont understand it that Contract is like much better than PAYG but yet PAYG gets much more services. When I want to make a international call I need to pay a once off fee of R500 that includes roaming for 1month the consultant stated. But with a PAYG sim I can make a uber cheap international call without any problems.

So what this means it cheaper to pay 25c @ Jet and buy a PAYG sim and load R15 airtime and is able to talk like 6min to the UK USA. WTF? What is the benefits of contract then?

With a contract the ability to chalk up expenditure that possibly cannot be afforded is much greater hence we do request that nursery numbers(numbers not yet 3 months old) pay a R500 deposit, payable back after 3 months. Topup contracts on the other hand do come with the int dial functionaility pre-installed considering that once the airtime is used up you would automatically be disconnnected
