MTN signal almost non-existent Constantia

I have been an MTN subscriber since around 1994. We recently relocated from KZN to Constantia where we usually get about 1 pip (not bar) of signal and calls are a nightmare. After months of fighting they finally installed a booster which does not help at all.
The irony is I eventually got a Vodacom PAYG sim for my old phone for important calls or ones where
“You are currently caller number 58 in the queue “. After many more calls it transpires the booster does not work with the latest iPhones .
I am plucking up the courage to call MTN again and be “caller number ………”.
PS I may be in the wrong place here as I saw a thread about boosters earlier and cannot find it again.

Why don't you just use Voice-over-WIFI? This is exactly the situation it solves. I also live in an area of Cape Town with very poor cellphone reception. VoWIFI is a lifesaver.

Don't waste your time speaking to your ISP. Speak to your cellphone company and ask them how to enable VoWIFI.
