MTN will not place your number on a Sim Swop watchlist unless you have been a victim of a Sim Swop in the past.

This policy has to be the most backward policy ever.

Call 135 , select the Fraud option and speak to a MTN " Champion ".

Using the USSD option *136*5#

Option 6 fails when you add a email address.

Is this the reason Sim Swop fraud is rife on MTN.
I saw a posting this morning where a members card was fraudulently sim swopped on MTN.
