Anyone have any idea if the Smart S can be enabled for development? Looks like the KaiOS loaded does not include Developer Mode, and the online info i could find doesn't seem to work. Maybe someone has a contact at MTN that could help?

Should be possible if you have device and technicaly adept at cooking up a rom yourself.
GerdaOS comes to mind
That does look like the only option at this point. All indications are that it is just a stripped down JioPhone, so should be able to use existing ROMs. Will investigate further.

Yup. been looking at this, but sofar no info or roms for the SmartS. Will have to see how close it is to the JioPhone
