MTN suffers ratings downgrade

Ratings agency Standard & Poor’s has downgraded MTN’s credit rating and put the mobile network on a watch negative amid a $5.2bn fine in Nigeria.

I take exception to the word "suffer"

Let me get the title right for you:

"MTN is slapped with ratings downgrade"
MTN do not suffer, they have far too many rolls of dollar bills in their belts and pockets at this point in time and they still dine on fine caviar and drive Bentley motor vehicles.
