MTN is extending its Summer Internet Bundle promotion, complementing its existing contract data products

This validity period is annoying. MTN rather just give us the extra data and let it expire at the end of the month

MTN how is it possible that a ISP comes into the market of mobile broadband and kicks all your butts immediately??

Perhaps a few emails to MTN (and Vodacom) to let them know it's 2014 and not 2004...

The short validity period spoils the offer a bit but STILL it is something you don't normally get.

The 300MB + 150MB for R79 might come in handy next month when I'm in a small dorp in the Western Cape for a week. If I can't get my 200MB / month Telkom Mobile SIM, or Cell C SIM, to pick up a signal, I'll go for this.

On my travels, I've found that MTN seem to have signal availability in some obscure places, more so than Voda.

Or take a look at Afrihosts offerings cause this is ridiculously bad pricing.

Afrihost seems too much of a commitment - even if not the case, that's the impression I get.
For me, the MTN purchase would be a one-off for a week.

Too much of a commitment? You're paying month to month and can quit at any time.
