‪I ordered superflex online but after checkout the website crashed. Money was deducted from my CC but I didn’t get any order confirmation.

Now when you call 083135 they are clueless as they don’t have a superflex direct helpdesk.

Is there someone from Mtn here on myBB that can assist ?

I don't think there is an MTN representative on the forum. It's almost impossible to get help from a competent person at MTN.

The only way I could get help was to go to one of their main walk-in centres.

This is the only way, I tried using their Twitter team and they are responsive which is at least something but they just endlessly escalate the issue but zero gets done, zip niks nada. The walk in team sorted my previous issue out in a day after months of fking around with the call centre, I’ll need to head out there again.
It must be a MTN walk in centre, not the franchised MTN stores.

I see the mtn 14th avenue store at the head office closed down. Wonder why

Where is the walk in center in durban

You telling me. I have had them try and deliver the sim 4 times now. Each time they are here the OTP takes 5 minutes to arrive at my phone and by then it has expired.

DSV said I must contact MTN and ask them to instruct DSV to do a manual delivery that would not require OTP or biometrics.

Spent an hour on the phone with MTN and still no success.

Ordered on 16 Oct. Still fokol.

Shall I do a chargeback on my credit card and start the process again ?

i bought the MTN superflex deal, and this is only when i released how useless/incompetent MTN and the staff is.

It is now 2 months since i received my sim card.
I have been to 4 different MTN stores and not one of them can RICA this card with my I.D number.

I have been told that i have to many cell phones. i am not even a MTN customer but i was told i have to many cell phones on their network.

Attempting online support, they deleted the SIM card, and send me back to the store.

DONT EVER, EVER -- EVER -- EVER USE MTN.
this is a incompetent operator that is not willing to support new clients.

I REGRET BUYING THIS SIM CARD.
I ALSO CANNOT GET A REFUND

i want to start legal action against MTN for this BS.
I see lots of people are having similar issues, please PM me to get your name added to the list.
I am taking MTN to small claims court for this

My 2c.

On superflex since september.
Not receiving any bills/invoices even though they have my email address.
So I've only done the initial payment.

Tried an MTN store today, unable to help, have to call 135.
I've done 135 3 times now where I actually get to a human
First one, needed her supervisor and then cut me off.
Second one, cut off.
Third one, transferred me to the contract department and then they wanted to transfer me back since "SuperFlex is under prepaid", then got cut off.

This echos my experience.

The contract team says it’s not contract so they can’t help and the prepaid team says it’s a month to month contract.

Still no feedback via email either

I’m just going to do a card dispute and cancel the virtual card I used to order it

After the 5th delivery I got my sim and it is working.
A guy from DSV phoned me and said he noticed I had had 4 delivery attempts. So he contacted MTN to add my order to their manual delivery list. And there we go.

I gave up calling MTN. Absolutely useless call center. Nobody knows fokol there.
Now I am waiting for my invoice to arrive.

Sorry about that. MTN & Vodacom aint what they used to be, and Cell C never was anything.

I reported a coverage issue with Telkom it got solved the following day, the consultant at Telkom has been calling me everyday all week making sure that my coverage is still good.

Who would have thought? MTN/Vodacom service standards would be at the bottom and Telkom at the top, anything is possible! lol

Do a chargeback and move on over to https://melonmobile.co.za/

So I did this and having issues at Melon as well

Got their sim then it wouldn’t activate. Waited that next day to sort out.
Then did a port request and didn’t go through properly.
Receiving calls on the old line still.

Been 3 days and no resolution

All the holidays. Trying to port now on any network is going to be madness.

Rubbish it’s all automated, it should work flawlessly, try some other bs angle.

Nope. A port from Voda to Telkom took 3 weeks as it had to be done manually. Not everything is automated unfortunately and some intervention is needed for some fringe situations.
