Agree with the SMS part. How do you phone your bank for example via Telegram or WhatsApp?
 
As per the article, this is what I do not like "As with MTN’s contract subscribers, it is necessary to migrate to prepaid first, settling all contract obligations before the port can be executed.". I have been a MTN Business subscriber for many years now but I do not use my phone for business as my clients are international. For that, I use Teams/WhatsApp calls. So technically, MTN should allow me to port my number to this new unlimited call plan next year when the contract is over, right?

I don't think I have phoned my current bank in 5 years.

It's the only reason I have a voice number is in case I need to phone a business.
 
2nd delivery was attempted yesterday afternoon. Same kak. OTP takes a couple of minutes to arrive on my phone from MTN. And then when we enter it on the delivery guy's device it has expired. Same kak as the first time.

Fscksakes. Now delivery is scheduled again for sometime next week and I would put my cock on a block and say I will have the same issues. Fscking useless MTN system.

You currently can’t use an eSIM with a SuperFlex plan.
Keep an eye out, as this will be available in the near future.
 
Fsck that superflex noise. I canceled one the other day. Kept on saying airtime was depleted and MTN has no humans to interact with.

Got a melon mobile esim instead.
 
Well my port from vodacom to mtn was pretty painless. The sim card paper had clear and easy to follow instructions.

Migrating from mtn prepaid to superflex was also very quick and easy.

Overall happy Chappy :)

I’m currently on an MTN SuperFlex plan and trying to move my physical SIM over to an eSIM.
MTN’s official site confirms eSIM support is now available for SuperFlex, but there’s no option in the app or online portal to do the SIM swap myself. I called 135 but it’s all automated, and I haven’t been able to get through to a human.
Has anyone here successfully converted their SuperFlex SIM to an eSIM?

Did you do it via phone, WhatsApp, or in-store?
Any tricks to bypass the voice menus and reach an agent?
How long did it take to complete?
Appreciate any help or advice — this is becoming a bit of a mission.
