MTN Topup Packages Service Provider Porting

Hi there,

I intend porting a few MTN Topup packages from Nashua Mobile to Autopage but remaining on MTN.

Autopage informs me that the credits on the topup packages will be lost once ported.

I find this rather unfair as I am still staying with MTN just moving from one service provider (Nashua Mobile) to another (Autopage).

Is there any truth to this and if it is, why should it be since I am still on the same network.
