I made some inquiries with the team busy trialing the Wifi calling option- they do not have an exact date as to when this will come to light, but they have advised that it will be this year still, sorry i couldn't give you a more definitive answer than that...

I'm afraid not- I've re-mailed the people responsible for this project, I'm hoping for some positive answers with regards to this, it's something I'd like to try out too...

It didn't, I only found that out this morning after having a chat with the SM for radio technology
From what I've gathered, VoLTE appears to be taking president over Wifi calling now, I don't anticipate it being activated this year...
I know it's not the response you were looking for, but it's the only one I have at this time

Update on this: I've just spoken to one of the radio specialists and he has advised that whatever feedback he gets regarding the matter he will mail me, within reason I'll update you as much as i can.
