Can anyone please help? How can one stop MTN spam SMS's? Tried all the ussd codes but MTN keep send this rubbish.

i'd also like to know, its incredibly annoying because on my phone it turns the screen on which doesn't go off until you tend to it.

The worst thing ever! I tried those codes to switch them off but i get at least 5 a day!

Change your settings so, notifications don't switch screen on

If it is a contract, one can register on the MTN website and look for activate and de-activate a service headings.
In the first category there is a setting MTN Notification Opt Out which can be activated.
In the second category there is a setting Promotion Notifications which can be de-activated.

I am not sure that it will help the OP, but I don't get any rubbish from MTN.
