Okay I know this is a bit siff but I keep on blowing my nose but there is some mucus in it that won't come out no matter what I do. It just seems to shift back and forth. It is very annoying. Can anyone help?

Dissolve a teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water. Sniff water.

Go take a hot shower and failing that blow harder. Unless you have some weird mutant mucus strain i am lost for words

Sinuclear tablets + vicks vaporub just under the nose(every 4 hours) u should be sorted after 3-4 days

Go see a doctor. And can someone tell me how to remove posts like this from the RSS feed? :erm:

There must be some kind of filter???!!! :)

good tip - it helps with hayfever too!

I've been able to kill several colds before they get going by doing this. The minute I feel the start of a sore throat I do it. Got my method down now to the point where I can just suck the water in through my nostrils with no air bubbles (more like sucking water through a straw than sniffing in water droplets with air, if you know what I mean) and the salt water just clears out my sinuses, and washes over soft palate at the back of my throat and then I spit it out. Sounds hectic, but actually feels so good.

Much easier with one of these, and AWESOME for sinus problems:

Ya, the one I use is not something anyone would think to make tea in. :p Looks very medical.

I use an empty nasal spray bottle to spray salt water in my nose. About 10 sprays in each nostril and then I blow it out.
