Mugabe 'preparing for war'

Can someone please help this senile old man out of his misery? Why is the SA government helping him with this?

This cycle will never end. Once Mugabe is gone, another will take his place, and another, and another until in a few years from now it will be another Somalia, run by gangs and warlords and the one with the biggest gun is king and its already started to go that way. Just give it enough time.

Its the way of Africa, the tribal way. They can run away from it but they will always return to it. Its who they are. From it they came, and to it they will all return! :)

How true ...yet sad. I dont think "rather hope not" it will go on forever. All things must come to an end sometime...But ya as i said "hope"

Hey do not give them ideas....:D

I wish someone would just off him.

Will give you my bank account details. You make large deposit (No Zim dollars) and I will 'make the problem go away'. Would do him for free actually, but it's just that I'm pretty busy right now, so I require a LARGE incentive.

Eish all this warmongering and calling for infringement on Zim sovereignty. I wonder why poor mad Bob is an exception the rule unlike other thugs and despots. Perhaps it's because he's our neighbour, it affects us and isn't so easy to ignore..... :erm:

No ways dude, no oil then the US could not care less.

If the US cared they would have removed him long ago.

Where's the oil in the former Yugoslavia, Vietnam and S.Korea again

The problem is that through out Africa Bob is revered as one of the most educated presidents. I say he is almost more popular with Africans than Nelson. Secondly during the struggle he gave most of the people in the SA government now asylum and military training.

Look at the local summits, he always gets a standing ovation.

Very well said. This is exactly how I feel about these African disaster countries. Doesn't matter who is in charge, it always ends up the same way.

Then the whole of Africa can bring it on :D

You overestimate the military prowess of Africa. A blind, crippled mouse with one hand behind it's back could take-on the entire continent.

only cpuntry he can take over is Bots + Namibia.. the others incl SA are more populous :P

Hey at least they're loyal comrades :o

Mbeki's brother mentioned that Zim was targeting Botswana for a conflict

Speaking of comrades......

Mugabe is [also] talking to Venezuela, Cuba and Korea to fund a war-chest in preparation for the referendum and election, following the implementation of the global political agreement (GPA) brokered by former president Thabo Mbeki on behalf of SADC."

Good to see leftest heros teaming up like the good old days :o

the scary thing is that a lot of South Africans also support Mugabe. Just look at Juliass Malema praising Mugabe in some of his speeches.

I am curious though, why are there no Zimbabweans standing up against Mugabe the same way the ANC stood up against the old apartheid government?

The nats had a lot more control over the country(secret police etc) and anyone that opposed them got killed or put in jail.

If a Zimbabwe revolution were to happen I am sure that there are African countries (Botswana) that will support the revolution.

There are plenty of Zimbabweans standing up to him. Unfortunately it gets nowhere near the support overseas as apposed to support against Apartheid. Black oppressive regimes don't get the juices flowing with white guilt ridden people overseas :erm:

Forgot about the white guilt factor.
