Just got news that Mugg and Bean in Festival Mall burnt down. Apparently a gas bottle exploded. Some burn injuries reported.

Quote bad as the mall had to be evacuated

Explosion at Kempton Park Mugg & Bean

At least ten people have been hurt, three of them critically, after an explosion at the Mugg & Bean at Festival Mall in Kempton Park.

The exact details of the explosion are not clear yet.

The police’s Tshisikawe Ndou says, “At this stage the information remains very sketchy. We do not know the cause of the explosion. However, the police are busy investigating.

Pretty sure radio said Pietermaritzburg Liberty Midlands mall Mugg 'n Bean they must have gotten it wrong since they never said JHB this morning
